An Alexandria, Va. man and his son make the best of the nearly two feet of snow on the ground near their home on Duke Street, Feb. 7. Northern Virginia residents reemerged from their homes and began digging out the day after a winter storm dumped record-setting amounts of snow on the Capitol region.
