As Mr. Blackmon has said, this needs to be resolved. I don't believe it will be because of the ones that have done wrong and knew at the time it was wrong. I might think it is wrong however people who let these kind of things go on during their watch will know that this will come up again on ELECTION DAY. Maybe we need another new marshall. What say ye!

Why should this surprise anyone. Politics is like the desert sand, it moves where the wind blows strongest. I understand why no one wants to continue to stir up this pot since there are several people involved. It would be hard to keep the story streight unless all parties got together and made up a single tale and then stuck to that tale only. I believe there this is just the tip of the iceberg when dealing with these people involved. No one has the grit to get out and find the real answers. I would want to see the FBI and GBI request for this investigation and the reports they filed after completing their investigation. The marshall said he requested the FBI and GBI however nothing has come to lite about this case. I believe all these people want to do is pass the buck and hope the truth will not surface.

This should be followed completely until resolved. It matters not who it is or what position they hold. This is SHAMEFUL.

this is not the first time that our local paper has been muzzled/censored. No doubt this area needs an independent source of local news and journalism that can be trusted to tell the whole truth and not the politically correct version that politicians or large advertisers want or will allow them to print.
