Women of this era are more advanced than what were earlier.....she knows now how to fill the frame........she itself is an art which defines her actions...she is still exploring her space in every sphere......as a journalist she has already stepped up in media decades back for example Mrinal Dubey a well known journalist,Barkha Dutt a daring woman..so the process of absorption in this field is on....we have to just wait and watch the upcoming women force..........Jai Hind.

This is a good piece of information, though no research has been done in Kenya, I have always been suspecting that there is a 'glass ceiling' for women in the media industry. We have trained a number of female students at Moi University and some qualified with high grades but none has risen to high positions in the work place. It has also been my assumption that the barriers do not exist in the US or developed countries.
There is need to have some comparison studies on the subject in developed and developing countries.
