Biography

William Nicholas Gomes was born on 25 December, 1985 in Dhaka. He obtained a Diploma in Human Rights from Dhaka International University.

He introduced himself as a filmmaker in 2007 with the short film Rohosoya (Mystery). He has produced several short films, including Mallaun Na Manush (Human or Non Muslim), which was shown in an international conference in Kolkata in 2009 and received praise. In his short films, he tried to frame the persecution of religious and ethic minorities in Bangladesh.
He is the executive director of a small human rights organization, Christian Development Alternative (CDA). William Nicholas Gomes was threaten by Islamic militants in the past and some of his co-workers were forced to leave the country.

He took special courage to talk openly about the extra judicial killings by the law enforcement agencies, specially by Elite force Rab in Bangladesh openly by military backed interim government openly. This is a good analysis on an interesting topic of universal interest. You have a nice writing style, and, in this case, I think the chronology of events works pretty well.
Unfortunately, UPI.com usually does not run analysis pieces.
If you would like to rewrite this in more of a news feature format, maybe comparing these executions to others around the world. (Try Human Rights Watch for statistics on government executions, for example) it probably would be a good candidate to run on the wire.
