Biography

William Nicholas Gomes was born on 25 December, 1985 in Dhaka. He obtained a Diploma in Human Rights from Dhaka International University.

He introduced himself as a filmmaker in 2007 with the short film Rohosoya (Mystery). He has produced several short films, including Mallaun Na Manush (Human or Non Muslim), which was shown in an international conference in Kolkata in 2009 and received praise. In his short films, he tried to frame the persecution of religious and ethic minorities in Bangladesh.
He is the executive director of a small human rights organization, Christian Development Alternative (CDA). William Nicholas Gomes was threaten by Islamic militants in the past and some of his co-workers were forced to leave the country.

He took special courage to talk openly about the extra judicial killings by the law enforcement agencies, specially by Elite force Rab in Bangladesh openly by military backed interim government openly. Well everything is a lot more controlled with Islam. This is for the best because we don't have kids giving birth at young age because they accidentally got pregnant. Also sexual desires only mess with our children emotions and impair their ability to concentrate on more important things such as school. Also we don't have all these teenage relationships and <a href="http://www.datingwebsites.org">dating websites</a>, etc. It's different but that is for the best.
